Felt alphabet - a handmade gift

Mathilda's 5th birthday is coming soon. Everything is more or less planned but I thought that it would be nice to add something handmade to the gifts that we've gathered for her.

This is a very simple project. Cutting out the letters took me one evening. I prepared two of every letter but with time I can cut out more of the most used ones. You can play with the letters making words straight on a table or use some felt. The felt that you use as your slate can be hung and the letters will still hold on to it. The alphabet can be nicely packed into that felt after you finish playing. You will then need a string or ribbon to tie it.

What do you think? Will she like it?
